Kleros Scout Incentive Program for April 2025: Solana Compatibility & Reward Changes

Kleros Scout Incentive Program for April 2025: Solana Compatibility & Reward Changes

Big news! Starting April 1st, 2025, the Kleros Scout Incentive Program is adding Solana as a chain you can earn rewards from. This incentive program is valid till April 30th 2025!

Plus, we’re making some changes on how rewards work. This article explains everything clearly: what’s new, how you can earn rewards, and why we’re doing things this way.

One of the reasons that brought up this decision, is that one of our partners, Metamask, will include Solana compatibility for their wallets, hence with Metamask Snap you’ll be able to see the insights about Solana chain in real time!.

Here is a step-by-step guide to easily get through this new Incentive Program.

1. Monthly reward distribution and Rewardable chains

Starting in April 2025, the 300,000 PNK monthly incentive pool will be distributed across three categories (as it is currently done in the previous months):

  1. Address Tags: 100k PNK
  2. Tokens: 100k PNK
  3. CDN (Contract-Domain Name): 100k PNK

We allow submissions for all chains at klerosscout.eth.limo. However, only the following chains will be rewarded:

  • Avalanche C-Chain
  • Fantom
  • zkSync
  • Scroll
  • Gnosis
  • Celo
  • Base
  • Solana (newly added)

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for rewards, submissions must meet specific requirements:

  • For Address Tags:
  • For CDN and Tokens:
    • Submissions must adhere to the standard criteria of their respective registries (more details available at klerosscout.eth.limo).
  • Timing:
    • Only addresses untagged by the end of each month (e.g., UTC 23:59 on the last day) will be eligible for that month’s rewards.

2. Main Change: Rewards Are Now Registry-Specific

We’re making things cleaner and simpler! Now you earn rewards by submitting tokens and NFT info in the right spots:

Tokens (Coins):

  • Submit your tokens (coins)—ERC20, SPL on Solana—to the Token Registry to earn rewards

NFT-related submissions:

  • You can submit NFT information under CDN (Contract-Domain Name) submissions to earn rewards by verifying minting security and safe NFT websites.

What about the Address Tag registry?
We want to keep the registries specific to their purpose. The Address Tags registry no longer provides rewards for submissions related to tokens (coins) or NFTs (ERC721 and similar).

Why this change?
We want to keep things simple, clear, and avoid duplication. We have as dedicated registry on Scout for Tokens(part of the incentive program) and a dedicated registry for NFTs on curate.io (not part of Scout incentive program)

Side note: You can still submit token(coins) and NFTs info to the Address Tags list if you want, but you won’t get paid for it.

3. How Rewards Are Calculated (The Formula)

The Formula used to calculate reward will be the same and can be found on previous blog posts and on the official Scout app

Solana Tokens Are a Bit Different

If you submit a Solana token to the Token Registry, there’s one extra rule to get a reward:

  • Your Solana token must have at least 5,000 holders.

You can check how many holders it has on dexscreener.com, it’s super easy to do.

Good to Know:

  • 5,000-holder rule is only for Solana tokens in this reward campaign.
  • You can still submit any Solana token you want without losing your deposit. as long as it fits the Token Registry’s rules. The number of holders doesn’t stop you from submitting; it just affects the reward.
  • The number of holders for your token will be counted during the first week of the month after you submit it.

Why Do Solana Tokens Need 5,000 Holders?
It is very cheap and fast for people to create tons of tons on Solana  including silly ones like memecoins that don’t last. We want to give rewards to tokens that people actually use and stick around for a long time. That’s why we picked 5,000 holders as the minimum.

Can I Submit a Solana Token With Less Than 5,000 Holders?
Yes, you can! The 5,000-holder rule is only about getting a reward. If you want to promote your token and it follows the Token Registry’s rules, you can submit it. No problem, even if it has fewer holders. You just won’t get paid for it in this campaign.

4. Not Just Rewards: Earn Bounties Too!

Even if your submission doesn’t get the monthly rewards, you can still make PNK by checking for mistakes. If you find faulty or wrong entries in our registries (like a bad address tag or fake token) and report it, you can earn bounties.

This is a bonus way to get paid while helping keep our data clean. So, submitting from any chain is always worth it!

TL;DR

  • Solana is now part of the Kleros Scout Incentive Program.
  • Tokens (ERC20, Solana, etc.) will only be rewarded if they’re in the Token Registry.
  • Any Policy compliant Solana Token can be submitted, but only if they have at least 5000 holders they’ll be considered eligible for a reward.
  • The monthly reward pool remains 300k PNK: 100k for address tags, 100k for tokens, 100k for CDN.
  • You can still submit data from other chains, but only the listed ones qualify for rewards.
  • This incentive program is valid till April 30th 2025
  • Earn bounties by challenging faulty submissions.

We’re excited to see the Kleros Scout community evolve and bring more comprehensive on-chain data to the ecosystem. Your contributions continue to make Web3 a more transparent place for everyone!
