Important Announcement: Doges on Trial - The Largest Decentralized Curated List Ever
Kleros celebrates the 1000th Doge to be accepted onto our list!
As you may know, we've been conducting a cryptoeconomic experiment on the Ethereum mainnet in the form of our Doges on Trial curated list pilot.
The experiment has shown to be a great success, with over 1000 non-duplicate Doges on it, while the list remains resilient to attacks and no cats managed to sneak their way in. This is why we increased the bounty on our challenge - who gets the first cat on the list will receive 50 ETH!
On July 31st, Doges on Trial was launched, as an attempt to test out one of the foundations of Kleros' vision, a dispute resolution methodology for decentralized marketplaces based on game theory to generate economic incentives for jurors to rule cases honestly and on blockchain to guarantee security in the process (for information on how it works, feel free to take a look at our video explainer).
The three main goals of the experiment are:
- Create the largest possible Doge images list.
- Make sure that only Doge images make it into the list.
- Make sure that no duplicate Doge images enter the list.
All users who posted Doge images will be paid out in Dogecoins on October 31st (just drop by this link and leave your info in the fields).
After the 31st the experiment will still be online, but there will be no more payouts in Dogecoin. We will soon come out with preliminary results, in the words of our cryptoeconomics researcher, William George - so stay tuned!
