Core Features at Launch
Kleros 2.0 Beta begins with carefully selected foundational elements, emphasizing security, usability, and system performance:
- Improved UI/UX: With a redesigned interface, Kleros 2.0 delivers a more intuitive experience for jurors, dispute creators and developers alike. From streamlined case handling to clearer navigation, this UI/UX update makes interacting with the protocol smoother and more accessible.
- Kleros Atlas: Our revamped backend, known as Kleros Atlas, brings major performance and reliability enhancements to the system. Atlas is engineered for scalability, empowering the platform to handle a growing volume of cases and support complex operations with ease.
These improvements set a solid foundation, allowing the protocol to grow and adapt while preserving security, usability, and system integrity.
🚀 Future Developments
While Kleros 2.0 Beta sets the groundwork, several advanced features are already in development for future releases:
- Modular Architecture: The modular design planned for future versions will allow for the addition of new functionalities without altering core contracts. This setup will enable Kleros to evolve rapidly, integrating new tools, mechanisms, and features seamlessly.
- Cross-Chain Capabilities: Rulings made on Arbitrum will be enforceable across multiple blockchain networks, broadening Kleros’ reach and flexibility across the Web3 ecosystem.
- Expanded Security and Dispute Resolution Tools: Based on testing results and community feedback, we’ll implement additional security mechanisms and dispute resolution features, adapting the platform to the diverse needs of the digital world.
📋 Things You Will Need
At this initial launch phase, the Kleros 2.0 beta will only be open to a select group of participants - previous Kleros v2 testnet users, existing Kleros v1 jurors, and individuals registered on Proof of Humanity v1.
If you fall into one of those eligible categories, here's what you'll need to get set up and start participating in the Kleros 2.0 beta:
- ETH on Arbitrum
- You'll need some ETH in your wallet to cover transaction fees on Arbitrum.
- You can bridge ETH from Ethereum mainnet using the Arbitrum Bridge or send it to your address from any exchange.
- Alternatively, you can use the LiFi widget to bridge ETH or other crypto to Arbitrum.
Suggestion: bridge a small amount to cover transaction fees - $10 might be sufficient. Preferably, use a chain with low transaction fees like Gnosis Chain.
- PNK on Arbitrum
- As a Kleros juror, you'll need to stake PNK tokens to participate in dispute resolution cases. Stake limits:
- Maximum Stake: 10,000 PNK
- Minimum Stake in Blockchain No-Técnica: 8,400 PNK
- As a Kleros juror, you'll need to stake PNK tokens to participate in dispute resolution cases. Stake limits:
- If you already have PNK on Ethereum mainnet, you can bridge it to Arbitrum using the Arbitrum Bridge. Fees might be high.
- If you don't have any PNK yet, or if you have PNK on Gnosis Chain, you can use the LiFi widget to purchase it directly on Arbitrum. If no route is found, get ETH on Arbitrum through the widget and PNK through Uniswap.
Suggestion: bridge from Gnosis Chain or Polygon to Arbitrum from cheaper fees, and get PNK on Uniswap for the best rate. - Kleros Beta Access NFT
