February 2026: Scout Incentives Update, New Rewardable Chains, and Product Launches!

We kicked off 2026 with two major product updates: the Scout 2.0 open beta and the launch of Stake Curate. We are now also updating Scout Incentives by expanding chain coverage and refining the Token Registry reward distribution to better reflect real usage.

1. New Chains

Two new chains are now eligible for rewards:

Polygon
megaETH

They follow the same criteria as the existing rewardable chains. In particular, for the Address Tag Registry (ATR) and the Token Registry, entries must not already be tagged on the relevant block explorer in order to be eligible for rewards. On CDN there is no "already tagged" requirement.

PulseChain added for submissions

PulseChain is now supported for submissions on our Frontends, without taking part to the incentive program

2. Token Registry reward formula update

We are updating the Token Registry formula.

The number of partners relying on Scout data is increasing, so we want token rewards to better reflect quality and real usage. Tokens with low activity can still receive rewards, but a smaller share, while tokens that are actually used on chain should receive a larger share.

New approach: 50% linear + 50% square root weighting.

New formula (Token Registry only):

reward_per_submission = ( (token_tx / total_txns_with_all_contracts) * 0.5 * reward_pool ) + ( (sqrt(token_tx) / sum_sqrt_total_txns_with_all_contracts) * 0.5 * reward_pool )

3. Incentives recap

Explorer tagging requirement

In order to be rewarded, entries on Address Tag Registry and Token Registry must not already be tagged on the respective block explorer:

Avalanche C Chain → snowscan.xyz
zkSync → era.zksync.network
Scroll → scrollscan.com
Gnosis → gnosisscan.io
Celo → celoscan.io
Base → basescan.org
Linea → lineascan.build
Solana → solscan.io
Arbitrum One → arbiscan.io
OP Mainnet → optimistic.etherscan.io
Polygon → polygonscan.com
megaETH → mega.etherscan.io

Note: CDN entries are not subject to this requirement.

Address Tag Registry (ATR)

Pool: 100,000 PNK (7,000 PNK allocated to removals)
Max reward per submission: 500 PNK
Max reward per removal: 500 PNK
ERC20, ERC721, and EIP 1167 submissions are excluded from incentives (but will still be accepted by the registry if the submission is compliant compliant)

Submissions:

reward_per_submission = reward_pool * ( (1 / (2 * total_submissions)) + (txns_with_contract / (2 * total_txns_with_all_contracts)))

Removals:

reward_per_removal= reward_pool / total_removals

Token Registry

Pool: 100,000 PNK (7,000 PNK allocated to removals)
Max reward per submission: 500 PNK
Max reward per removal: 500 PNK
Solana tokens must have at least 5,000 holders to be eligible

Submissions:

reward_per_submission = ( (token_tx / total_txns_with_all_contracts) * 0.5 * reward_pool ) + ( (sqrt(token_tx) / sum_sqrt_total_txns_with_all_contracts) * 0.5 * reward_pool )

Removals:

reward_per_removal= reward_pool / total_removals

CDN Registry

Pool: 100,000 PNK (7,000 PNK allocated to removals)
Max reward per submission: 500 PNK
Max reward per removal: 500 PNK
All compliant submissions are rewarded

Submissions:

reward_per_submission = reward_pool * ( (1 / (2 * total_submissions)) + (txns_with_contract / (2 * total_txns_with_all_contracts)))

Removals:

reward_per_removal= reward_pool / total_removals

Rewards Notes:

  • Even if your entry isn’t eligible for rewards, don’t worry. If it meets the policy criteria, it will still be accepted. We welcome every valid contribution to the ecosystem.
  • Solana transaction counts are inflated. To avoid penalizing smaller tokens and EVM chains in general, we will adjust the calculation to normalize these figures.

4. Address Tag Queries (ATQ) Incentives

  • Submissions pool: 60,000 PNK (max 3,000 PNK per submission)
  • Removals pool: 6,500 PNK (max 500 PNK per removal)
  • Formula for both:
reward = reward_pool / successful_requests
  • The formula is valid both for new registration and removal requests
  • Eligible chains: All

5. Product updates

Stake Curate is live

We launched Stake Curate, the Curate version with skin in the game. Entries are backed by permanent deposits, which creates ongoing incentives for monitoring and accuracy over time. Read the full article!

Scout 2.0 open beta is live

We also launched the open beta of the Scout dapp, introducing several long-requested features shaped by community feedback, including:

  • CSV export, making it easier to use AI tools for vetting and analysis
  • List view, for faster and more flexible navigation
  • Registry statistics, to monitor the evolution of the main registries in real time
  • Profile statistics, including submission history and challenge history
  • Full dispute interaction directly in Scout, without needing to switch to Curate or the Court interface
  • And more improvements

This beta phase allows us to iterate quickly with your input and refine the experience before the full release.
